myself: group 5, female
also, my guild is 50% female.
i'll break it down some more for you (not including myself and Funda, who already replied to this thread)
age group/gender
6/male, 6/male, 5/male, 5/male, 3/male, 4/male
6/female, 6/female, 6/female, 3/female, 5/female, 4/female
granted, most of us are couples/families, but the girls are just as into the game as the guys are... in fact, i played this game first, then got my boyfriend into it (Funda... a few replies up).
i've also met quite a few other females in game.
there are way more girl gamers than (most of) you think.

Don't be shocked at the large numbers of older gamers that exist nowadays. Years ago, the perception that gaming was a kid's hobby didn't garner much interest from older people. Today's 'older' gamers are the young gamers of yesterday, and obviously the younger contingent has been replaced by younger players of today. Gaming is more mainstream than ever because it's more all-ages than it's ever been.

4, male 21 in june wooohooo ima get sooo drumk alkw!!1
edit: I've always wanted to see a poll of the ages of players who are both very generous and experienced to those that are "newbish" and often annoying/troublesome to see if there was any correlation to specific ages within the two groups...for instance, are the more aggrivating players usually preteens as is often suggested? Just a thought, testing this of course would be a bit problematic...
